PROTOTYPE objects run true to size in EU 40–45, with no half sizes. The last is cut close through the midfoot and relaxes with wear. If you sit between sizes or have a high instep, size up — the leather will not stretch out, only in.
Every pair is numbered by hand into the sole at inspection. The number records which run it belongs to and the order it was finished — not a serial for serial’s sake. 不破不立 — each run carries the corrections of the one before it.
Yes — it is designed to be. The vulcanised sole can be rebuilt, the collar re-stitched and the leather re-conditioned at the Repair Desk. Send the number on your sole and we match it to its run. Built to be repaired, not replaced.
Made in the USA, shipped worldwide. Domestic orders arrive in 2–4 business days; international 5–10, fully tracked and insured. Duties are calculated at checkout so there is nothing to settle on arrival.
30 days, unworn and in the box, for a full refund or a size exchange. Try them indoors as long as you like. Once a pair has been worn outside it is yours — but the Repair Desk will keep it going for years.
No. A numbered run is closed when it is signed — there is no restock and no second colourway. The next object is a new run, not a repeat. Join the register on the Announcement page to be notified before it opens.

Wipe, condition, rest. A soft cloth and a neutral cream keep the veg-tan honest.
For resoles and re-stitches, the Repair Desk rebuilds your numbered pair — lead time 2–4 weeks.
